We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

• To deliver and facilitate delivery of services, including submitting internship applications to employers and rendering your CV document.
• To respond to user inquiries/offer support and solve any potential issues you might have with our services.
• To protect our Services as part of our efforts to keep our Services safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention).

4. Will Your Information Be Shared?

We only share and disclose your information in the following situations:

• With Employers: When you apply for an internship, your profile, resume, and associated application data are shared directly with the employer posting the listing.
• Compliance with Laws: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
• Vital Interests and Legal Rights: We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities.
• Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than necessary to facilitate your internship application or CV builder usage.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

6. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability.

Since Internify is a public search platform with no user accounts or registration, we do not store user account profiles. If you have built a CV using our CV Builder, the data is stored locally or processed temporarily to render your PDF. If you have submitted an application via email apply, your CV and cover letter details are sent directly to the employer and are not retained on our active databases longer than necessary to complete the transmission.
